Christmas: Be grateful, Celebrate moderately, Odutayo Abiodun (Iwogbe) charges Christians.

Otunba Abiodun Odutayo (Iwogbe) the President Iwogbe Foundation and Special Assistant to Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun,  has urged Christians in Nigerian most especially Ijebu North Constituents to show a heart of gratitute to God for witnessing another Christmas despite the turbulence associated with year 2022 most especially as the world experience global inflation. Odutayo, who gave the admonition in a press statement signed by him to mark this year Christmas celebration, noted that though the year like other past years had it challenges, but scaling through is worth been thankful of. Gov Abiodun's Aide, Odutayo Iwogbe begins sharing of Christmas Package, Celebrates with Christians.

In his usual annual character, the Special Assistant to Governor Dapo Abiodun MFR on OGWAMA, Otunba Abiodun Odutayo (Iwogbe) has commenced his annual distribution of Christmas packages to Constituents of Ijebu North State Constituency II comprising of Ago-Iwoye, Oru Awa Ilaporu and its environs. According to him, the gesture is not new especially as such distribution of souvenir is done at every festive occasion. He furthered that the essence of the season is to share gifts and other soul-suiting items which is what the birth of Jesus Christ represents. Man 74-year-old from Kogi State has married for the first time.

A 74-year-old man from Kogi State identified as Mallam Muhammad Awal, has married for the first time. Awal wedded 45-year-old divorcee, Mallama Rahmat Muhammad, in Lokoja, the Kogi state capital on Sunday, August 28.  Speaking to journalists on why he had stayed this late before getting married, the septuagenarian said lack of money discouraged him from approaching a woman for marriage.  "I have always been afraid I might fail in my duty of care to a spouse if I married and it is something I fear and don’t want to joke with. I am also afraid of separation from my spouse. I know if I fail to take care of her, she might either leave me or cheat on me with another man, which I would not like. So, to avoid all of that, I dismissed the idea of marriage altogether. Five of the passengers on Kaduna-bound train attacked by terrorists on March 28, 2022, have regained their freedom.

Five of the passengers on Kaduna-bound train attacked by terrorists on March 28, 2022, have regained their freedom. The victims were released today August 2. Among the freed passengers are Prof. Mustapha Umar Imam, a medical doctor at the Usman Dan Fodio University Teaching Hospital (UDUS), Sokoto. Imam was shot in captivity, raising concerns about his safety. Other passengers who were released are Akibu Lawal, Abubakar Ahmed Rufai, Muktar Shuaibu, and Sidi Aminu Sharif. Kaduna-based Publisher, Tukur Mamu, who voluntarily engaged in negotiating the release of the victims but backed out due to threats to his life confirmed their release to Daily Trust. So far, 27 victims have regained their freedom. With the release of the five victims, the number of those still in captivity now remains at 35. It is however not clear if any money was paid to the terrorists to release their abducted victims.

Olarinoye Adenike Adijat wins Nigeria's first Gold medal in the ongoing IWF in Birmingham..... The first gold medal at the Commonwealth Games came through the record-setting Adijat Olarinoye, who emerged as the overall best in the women's 55kg weightlifting. She lifted 92kg in the snatch, 111kg in clean and jerk, lifting 203kg in total which is a Games Record. Congratulations Darling!!!
